Thank you letter-Kent
Dear Kent,
I am writing this letter because I want to thank you for coming to camp. Giving us an enjoyable place to be and a helpful person to know. Thank you and here is my highlight from camp.
Vroom Vroom!! Oh, sorry! That was my car, speaking of cars, I want to tell you about my rally car for when we watched the drive-in movie. The reason we made these for the movie because we needed a car of course! I mean, what is a drive-in movie without a vehicle!!! Anyway, it was EXTREMELY hard, especially finding cardboard boxes. I had decided to add some engines they used in racing. I also had to find some containers for my drink and popcorn. The hard part was making the basic shape of the hot rod with you but at least it was fun.
Here is a little poem for you↙
Thank you for helping me and and other people with making the movie cars.
Helpful at cooking our kai.
Nice at making a hot rod out of a cardboard box.
Kind and strong.
Serious and joyful
Keeping calm.
Experienced maker.
Neat person to meet.
Thanks again Kent.
Thank you for looking after us and coming to camp. We all appreciate you coming and having fun with us. Thank you and
have a nice day!!!!

My Art
The pukeko is standing quietly in the tall grass waiting for the sun to rise. Koru are scattered throughout the pukeko’s body and they represent members of my family. I used complementary colours like red, black, green and dark blue. My art is inspired by Shane Hansen who is a New Zealand artist.
